Janine Idelson

Janine Idelson is the founder of Janine Idelson PLLC, a consulting practice advising investment advisers on transactions and special situations. She also serves on the Board of Directors of PeoplesBank and sits on the Audit and Loan Committees.  Janine retired from MFS Investment Management in 2022 after a thirty-two-year career as Fixed Income Counsel, where she focused on investments, risk management, and regulatory compliance. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.  Janine earned her J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and her B.A. from Brown University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Janine is active in community leadership and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Community Music School of Springfield. Her prior board service includes the Tiverton Land Trust, the Springfield Jewish Community Center, and the Longmeadow School Committee.
