Dr. Samantha Levreault (flute) is known for her expressive performances and versatile artistry across orchestral, chamber, and solo settings. She has appeared with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) Symphony Orchestra, and as a concerto soloist with the UNCG Concert Band and Mount Holyoke Symphony Orchestra. An active chamber musician, she performed with the UNCG Flute Choir, recipients of the 2025 Mary H. Anderson Award and invited artists for the National Flute Association Convention. A passionate educator, she teaches music appreciation at Mitchell Community College and frequently performs throughout the Southeast and New England. Dr. Levreault frequently works with the music department at Mount Holyoke College, coaching orchestral wind sectionals and flute choir. She served as flute instructor at Mitchell Community College in North Carolina. Dr. Levreault earned her Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where her research explores innovative, game-based approaches to music history learning.

In harmony with her performing, teaching, and research, Sam is a dedicated advocate for music and arts programs, and making music accessible for all members of the community. She has worked and volunteered for numerous nonprofits in the last decade, including the Northampton Community Music Center, Massachusetts International Festival for the Arts, and the Victory Players ensemble. Sam joined CMSS’ administrative staff in June 2026.
