Nialena Ali

Nialena Ali is an experienced web designer and visual creative. She received her Bachelors degree in International Relations & Africana studies from Mount Holyoke College and studied law at Western New England University. Prior to becoming the Communications Manager at CMSS, Nialena served as the Director of Operations for a study abroad program to Ghana and the Director of Research and Development for a public-sector consulting firm. In each role she oversaw the organization’s website, marketing, and recruitment efforts. She eventually realized that communications and graphic design were her favorite aspects of her work and pivoted to being the creative voice for mission-driven organizations. Nialena is passionate about ensuring the ethos of an organization is translated to the public with sophistication and pizazz. She enjoys getting to combine her business acumen with her creative design skills to support the arts. Nialena loves working alongside the brilliant artists, creatives, and young people at CMSS.
