Parking for CMSS
The Springfield Redevelopment Authority has started construction of a parking garage in the location of CMSS’ former parking lot.
Please choose one of the following alternative parking options based on your needs.
Drop Off/Pick-Up
Metered parking is no longer available on Stockbridge Street. For families that drop off or pick up students, please use the new CMSS loading zone on Stockbridge Street. We ask that when you are picking up your student in your vehicle that you take extra care to ensure you are not parked on the crosswalk, or for extended periods of time.
Accessible Parking
If you use a wheelchair, walker, or have other needs that require accessible parking, you have 2 options. If you have a handicap placard for your vehicle, you may use the handicap parking spot on State Street in front of CMSS’ entrance if it is available, and our front desk receptionist will provide reimbursement for the parking meter. Alternatively, you can park in the Loading Zone on Stockbridge Street for the duration of your lesson, class, or meeting.
Parking Options

Option 1: 24 Park Street: These 32 spots are free and are for CMSS only. To ensure you do not get towed, you need a CMSS parking sticker, which you can get at our front desk. If you don’t have a parking sticker, please use Option 2.

Option 2: 1095 Main Street: (Google Maps may say 1 Peabody Ln) Ample overflow parking is available at 1095 Main Street. Upon entry to this lot, you will receive a ticket. Bring this ticket with you into CMSS and we will validate your parking at the front desk.

For the time being, there is also metered parking on Cross Street (this will be removed during construction).
We are confident that these early disruptions for parking will be resolved in the coming weeks and appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this stage of early transition. We anticipate that much improved parking arrangements for you and your family will be in place by late summer ensuring a smooth start to the new school year in the fall.
During this 18 month period of construction, while the Springfield Redevelopment Authority is building a parking garage in the current spot of the CMSS parking lot, we are committed to the care and safety of our current and future families. Once construction of the parking garage is complete, we look forward to having spaces in a covered structure, which will allow us to provide closer parking during our large events.

Aparcamiento para CMSS
La Autoridad de Desarrollo Urbano de Springfield ha iniciado las obras de construcción de un aparcamiento en el espacio que ocupaba el antiguo aparcamiento de CMSS.
Elige una de las siguientes opciones de aparcamiento en función de tus necesidades.
Entrega/Recogida
Ya no hay plazas de aparcamiento con parqueo medido en la calle Stockbridge. Las familias que dejen o recojan a los alumnos deben utilizar la nueva zona de carga y descarga de Stockbridge Street. Les pedimos que, cuando recojan a sus hijos en su vehículo, tengan especial cuidado de no aparcar en el paso de peatones ni durante periodos de tiempo prolongados.
Aparcamiento para personas con movilidad restringida
Si utilizas una silla de ruedas, un andador o tienes otras necesidades que requieran una plaza de aparcamiento adaptada, tienes dos opciones. Si tienes una tarjeta de discapacidad para tu vehículo, puedes utilizar la plaza de aparcamiento para personas con discapacidad de State Street, situada frente a la entrada del CMSS, siempre que esté disponible, y la recepcionista te reembolsará el importe del parquímetro. Como alternativa, puedes aparcar en la zona de carga y descarga de Stockbridge Street mientras dure tu clase, sesión o reunión.
Opciones de estacionamiento
Opción 1: 24 Park Street: Estas 32 plazas son gratuitas y están reservadas exclusivamente para el personal de CMSS. Para evitar que te retiren el coche con la grúa, necesitas una pegatina de aparcamiento de CMSS, que puedes recoger en nuestra recepción.
Opción 2: 1095 Main Street: (es posible que Google Maps indique 1 Peabody Ln). Hay un amplio aparcamiento adicional disponible en el 1095 de Main Street. Al entrar en este aparcamiento, se te entregará un ticket. Trae este ticket contigo al CMSS y te lo validaremos en recepción.
Por el momento, también hay aparcamiento con parquímetro en Cross Street (este se retirará durante las construcciones)
Estamos seguros de que estos pequeños inconvenientes iniciales relacionados con el aparcamiento se resolverán en las próximas semanas y agradecemos la colaboración de todos durante esta fase inicial de transición. Esperamos que, a finales de verano, ya estén en funcionamiento unas medidas de aparcamiento mucho mejores para todos ustedes y sus familias, lo que garantizará un comienzo sin complicaciones del nuevo curso escolar en otoño.
Durante este periodo de 18 meses de construcción, mientras la Autoridad de Desarrollo Urbano de Springfield construye un aparcamiento en el lugar que actualmente ocupa el aparcamiento del CMSS, estamos comprometidos con el bienestar y la seguridad de nuestras familias actuales y futuras. Una vez finalizada la construcción del aparcamiento, esperamos contar con plazas en una estructura cubierta, lo que nos permitirá ofrecer aparcamiento más cercano durante nuestros grandes eventos.
