Dustin Patrick


Performer and educator, Dustin received his master’s in percussion performance from UMass-Amherst and has pursued the majority of his studies under teachers Michael DeQuattro (Rhode Island College), Ayano Kataoka (UMass-Amherst), and Thomas P. Hannum (UMass-Amherst). He has performed and taught in various settings throughout New England including work with various marching bands, drum corps, percussion ensembles, concert bands, and orchestras. His wide range of experience includes but is not limited to performance and education of many genres including classical, contemporary, marching, rock, jazz, latin, and world percussion. Currently Dustin is a freelance artist in western Massachusetts and aside from CMSS regularly teaches at Mount Holyoke College, Belchertown Public Schools (MA), and Enfield High School (CT).
