Dean Yalanis

Dean Yalanis is a Teaching Artist in CMSS’ Sonido Musica program. Dean has been playing drums professionally since the age of 12. He grew up in a family of professional musicians, educators, and entrepreneurs and continues to work in those three fields today. Dean has been a percussion music teaching artist at Neighborhood Studios in Hartford, CT, Artspace Community Arts Center in Greenfield MA. He has been on the percussion faculty of the Sonido Musica team at Community Music School of Springfield since 2014.
