Anna Pless
Tuba / Saxophone
Anna Pless is a Teaching Artist in CMSS’ Sonido Musica Program. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she studied music education. While at UMass, Anna focused her studies around becoming an adept and versatile educator. In particular, she devoted her time to studying jazz theory, conducting in the wind band setting, and serving as a drum major for the UMass Minuteman Marching Band.
Anna’s passions lie in music education being an avenue for creativity, opportunity, and connection. As a Western Massachusetts native, she takes pride in being able to bring this passion to her work serving the community.
