The Community Music School is housed in a 1933 landmark building in the heart of Springfield. You’ll find us directly across from the MassMutual Center on State Street.

Our magnificent home features five floors and 30,000 square feet of newly renovated classrooms, studios, offices and performance space.

In addition to class instruction, CMSS hosts more than 100 recitals and concerts a year. During almost any given week, you can hear performances by our students, faculty or distinguished visiting musicians. 

Robyn Newhouse Hall, our beautiful new performance space, is alive with musical and other arts programs.
